Comment Turk Almost Exists

Hmm. Very interesting post by Paul Watson about Comment Turk - a proposed method to allow Turkers to approve comments. It seems the tests for Hit Builder were based on approving guestbook comments. Three Turkers decided whether or not the comment made it to the site.

Watson wrote:

Also, and I may have the prototype wrong here, the comment is not initially stored on your blog. It is sent straight to Hit-Builder. I wouldn’t want the comment not first being stored on my blog system. Firstly because it is data I want and secondly because I wouldn’t want Comment Turk handling all comments. Comments from approved users should skip any spam check and comments that are obviously spam I wouldn’t want to waste a few cents on by sending it through Comment Turk.

The community is still growing, behind the curtains while in the beta stage maybe, but still growing.
