Can You Have More Than One mTurk Account?

The debate still rages, it seems. I was checking out this thread over at Turker Nation and see that even after it's laid out in type, people are saying they can have more than one account, or should be able to have more than one account, or will be able to hide the fact they have more than one account.
I don't know. To me, it's against the rules so you shouldn't do it. If you have two accounts currently, I'd let them know you were confused and want to consolidate the accounts.
What do you think? Any whiners who think it should be ok to have multiple accounts? Anyone like me who think you shouldn't have more than one account?

I have read the COU up and down and nowhere does it say you can't have multiple accounts. In fact is requires you to use seperate accounts if you want to both post hits and work on them.
The COU specifically allows multiple accounts
As long as you only use one at a time:
b. Passwords and Account Use. You are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy and security of your password. You may not disclose your password to any third party (other than third parties authorized by you to use your account) and are solely responsible for any use of or action taken under your password on the Site. If your password is compromised, you must change your password. You may not permit any other person to perform Services as Provider using your Amazon Account. Additionally, if you are using the Site as a Provider, and you have multiple Amazon Accounts, you may only use one Amazon Account at any given time. In other words, you may not use different Amazon Accounts to simultaneously perform Services.
it says amazon accounts
not specifically amazon mturk accounts.
any other thoughts on it?

The CoU answers your question
You are correct. it says Amazon account, which is defined in paragraph 2:
Quote:
(g) “Amazon Account” means any customer account that you have established with a website owned or controlled by Amazon or its Affiliates
Mturk accounts ARE Amazon accounts. As long as you use your legal name and correct address, and otherwise follow the terms of the CoU you are allowed to have multiple provider (worker) accounts. The only other restriction is you can only use one at a time.
