Still No Killer Apps For Amazon Mechanical Turk?
Waaaay back in January of this year, the great Read/Write Web blog had a good post about mTurk from Amazon. The question is - how is the service about nine months later? Well, there was the big Steve Fossett thing. That wasn't a 'killer app' as much as an interesting social phenomenon online.

Work for Mechanical Turk
Heh. And I don't mean as just another Turker. Scouring the web for all news Mechanical Turk related, I came across this job listing at Career Builder. (Career Builder being the site it is, I couldn't easily tell how old the ad was. Maybe Barr or someone knows if the position has been filled?)
Humans Teaching Machines to be More Human
Over at Geek Limit, AtariBoy has some interesting thoughts and questions about mTurk (or MT as he calls it - which is another thread altogether - what's your pet name for Mechanical Turk?) In any case, the post asks some basic what if questions about the service.
